The hotel’s gourmet restaurant, De Pisis, with its terrace overlooking the Grand Canal, is much more than a Il Palazzo Bauer restaurant: it is a destination for people of discerning taste and palate. “Bar Canale” is an elegant and cosy bar with a terrace overlooking the Grand Canal and the Chiesa della Salute. Evening live music during the summer months.

From Piazzale Roma (car parking garage) or Santa Lucia railway station to the hotel:
•Public boat (1 or 2) to the San Marco stop: about 40 minutes by line 1 and 25 minutes by line 2. From the San Marco/Vallaresso stop to the hotel, guests have to walk (less than five minutes) straight on to the end of Calle Vallaresso then turn left into Campo San Moisè
•Water taxi: about 15 to 20 minutes directly to the dock
From Santa Lucia railway station to the hotel:
•Water taxis are available from the waterfront immediately outside the railway station directly to the dock: about 15 minutes
•Take vaporetto line 1 to San Marco Vallaresso: about 45 minutes, or line 2
From Venice Marco Polo Airport:
•Water taxi directly to the dock: about 40 minutes
•From the Airport water dock you can take the official transportation boat, Alilaguna, to San Marco: about 1 hour 15 minutes
