- Leave the M6 at junction 36.
- Follow the A591 to Windermere (do not leave A591).
- When you arrive at Windermere, turn left at the Nat West bank and follow the one way system through the village for the Lake.
- After about 800 metres turn left into Thornbarrow Road, immediately after the pedestrian crossing.
- Thornbank is 30 metres further up on the left. We have a blue sign.
Car parking is available at the house.
By Train:
- The mainline connection to Windermere is Oxenholme. The connection from Oxenholme to Windermere takes 20 minutes.
Car hire can be arranged for delivery to Windermere station or Thornbank House.
