You are always welcome to spend a wonderful time in the Vértes Konferencia & Wellness hotel, which - after having been renovated - opened its gates again on 30th of May in 2003. Earlier it was opened only in the summer time as a two-star Conference & Vertes Wellness Hotel but now the Conference & Vertes Wellness Hotel has four stars and is waiting for its guests with four-star services throughout the year.

The Conference & Vertes Wellness Hotel lies on the nicest and romantic street of Siófok with sycamore trees. Our guests can walk to the beach on a pleasant promenade, which is situated at a distance of 150 meters in nice surroundings. You can find the railway- and the bus station next to the hotel, but it will not disturb you, because of the good statical architecture of the building.

At Siófok, the Cultural Center of the South Region of Lake Balaton is the biggest cultural institute of town. It is in the center of Siófok, close to Water Tower on the main square. The Cultural Center including an air-conditioned auditorium with 480 seats, is excellent for theater performances, conferences and other cultural events.
A very interesting scenic spot is the port of Siófok, from where the scheduled pleasure boats put forth. The busiest boat traffic occurs here on the Balaton.

Arrival by car from Budapest:
Take the highway M7 up to the exit "Siófok Kelet". Follow the route 70 straight onto "Fö utca". Follow this street until you see a soccer playfiled on the left side. There you have to turn right onto "Kiniszi Pál street". At the corner you will see the "Csardas restaurant". As soon as you turn right onto "Kiniszi Pál street" you will have to cross some train tracks. The second street to the left is Batthyany L. street!
Arrival by public transportation:
The main train and bus station are in the city center of Siófok. When you arrive at the train station do not take the main exit. There is another exit, which leads you to the other side of the tracks. Follow that one and turn immediately left onto "Indóház utca". Follow that street for a couple of meters before you reach a little path on the right side. Follow this path and you are in front of the hotel. Walking distance is app. 5 minutes from the train station. When you arrive by bus, just go to the main train station ( which is app. 50m from the bus station away ) and look for the underpass. Then continue like mentioned above.
