Villa Mater is located a few minutes away from the historical centre of Catania and enjoys a stunning view: the sea of Ognina and the "plaia's" white sandy beaches on one side, and Mt. Etna that in the course of the seasons passes from snow-capped peaks to naked slopes crossed by fiery tongues of its own lava. The house shares part of the local life, where local artesans reproduce the "flavours" of ancient traditions.
