Gdansk’s famous crane over the Motlawa River is less than a kilometre from the hotel. The crane once played a dual role as both a port crane and as Gdansk’s city gate. It has been in its present form since 1442-1444. The machinery of the crane is driven by a huge wooden wheel inside it, which was powered by men walking on it, like a giant hamster wheel. The crane was not only used to unload and reload cargo, it was also used to put up ships’ masts.

Bus B goes from the airport to the centre of Gdansk, it should take 40 minutes and a one-way ticket costs ZL 2.40.
From the railway station it will take only a 15 minute walk to reach our hotel. You can take a taxi or a tramway from the upper central bus station stop.
